Growing up in a miners’ family, coffee is paramount; strong, dark-roasted magic that wakes your mind but your nose enjoys first. I had this same experience walking into City Roosters, the aroma hitting first, profound, rich, toasted; then, I calmly sipped on a latte with an extra shot. It was a true familiar experience, strong, deep, like hugging an old friend or remembering your favorite song. I fully recommend going to City Roosters for a proper cup of coffee and unlocking a forgotten coffee-related memory.

Definitely the best Coffee Shop in the Dallas area! This small place it's not only very cozy with an old industrial style vibe; it also serves the best coffee around the city, they have a nice selection of single origin beans and the coffee just taste great. We aren't local to the area and we had to come twice before leaving; We regretted not finding it earlier in our trip. Also the Baristas not only were very skilled making the drinks; they were genial and affable very nice people in general. Last but not least the Cafe has a lot of messaging in support of human rights which is great they are open in such an important topic

Knowledgeable, very friendly staff. What a pleasant experience. Exploring this local roasting studio and their incredible beans was a joy. When it comes to holiday gifting, I would not want to give anything less than the best, and I am grateful that source is right here in Dallas proper. Thank you to the duo behind the bar this morning who helped me choose beans tailored to my gifting needs. They made the process clear and easy. I also tried a freshly pulled double shot of their Guatemalan and it was excellent. This place truly feels like a community haven. So thankful it exists. Only wish it were closer to me. Cheers ☕️

I was getting a service done next door and noticed Full City Rooster when I got into my car. I quickly was curious about this hidden gem of a coffee shop. The reviews had me get out of my car intrigued to go inside. When I walked in I fell in love with the design and art. Then I was greeted with such warm hellos and smiles from the owner and employees. I asked for a recommended coffee and trusted them. I was not disappointed! It tastes so rich and authentic with the perfect flavor of not overwhelming sweetness nor takes away from the coffee. I believe it was the brown sugar latte. If you get the chance to stop by you won’t be disappointed. They also have a seating area in the back I’d love to come back and have a pastry next time. I lucked out and missed the pastries today. Looking forward to coming back!

First time visiting and LOVED it! The latte was the best we’ve had here in Dallas, bar none, and the pour over was top notch. Michael welcomed us like old friends. We felt like this place was an oasis in a desert starved for great coffee. I had a blueberry scone and my husband had the ham and cheese croissant both of which were excellent. Highly recommend this place!

This has to be the best coffee we have had since being in the US. They take care in the preparation, spend the time to get each element just right. Absolutely delicious, strong and full of flavour. This is a must visit if you appreciate good coffee and are in Dallas.

I drive 40 minutes to this coffee shop once a month—just to get a cup of coffee and buy two bags of coffee beans. I moved here from Seattle, and among the places near Dallas, the coffee beans here are the best. The aroma, flavor, and overall quality are excellent, so I highly recommend it.

Second time visiting. Enjoyed their Cortado too much last time and it was a pleasant surprise! So I had to come back for their latte. My day was set after visiting here. Lovely people, easy going atmosphere, plenty for spaces for a group.

Amazing coffee and even better service! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. He even prepared an espresso shot for me using an aeration technique, which made it incredibly smooth and gave me a unique coffee experience. The coffee was so good that I ended up buying some beans to take home. There is plenty of seating inside, making it a great place to study or get some work done. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and inviting. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
